The HGMS 8th Grade Band will be performing at MPA on March 18 at Ligon Middle School. We will leave HGMS at 12:00 and will return at 5:00. We will need at least 7 parent volunteers. Please see the Field trip permission form and Itinerary to the right. Permission forms need to be turned in no later than Tuesday March 11. We will hold a final rehearsal with all students participating in MPA on March 11 from 3:00 - 4:30. |

Parents that would like to volunteer to help with the MPA trip will need to complete the form to the left by Friday March 7th. Let Mr. Capps know if you have any questions.
Track 1 students will be tracked out the week leading up to our performance at MPA. With the school days that we missed because of snow as well as the early dismissal on March 3, it will be important to have as many participating students in rehearsal during the last week. Below is the track out permission form for track 1 parents to fill out in order for the child to return to school. 8th Grade Band rehearses from 10:30 to 11:30; however, if track 1 students need to come in earlier and leave later that is perfectly alright.
